Vendor Product Manager - Mobile Solutions

About the job

The role will include monitoring the portfolio’s in-life performance and maintaining growth thorough understanding of the market, identifying opportunities for new product introduction and contributing towards strategy and roadmap for the solution area.

The Mobile Solutions Product Manager’s objective is to ensure the success of their products within Giacom, which means working collaboratively with marketing, sales, operations, finance and commercial teams to drive successful outcomes. They will ensure that the product and service offering are competitive; that our go-to-market propositions are clear; and that Giacom remains differentiated against its competitors.

What you'll be doing:

• Development and in-life management of components within our mobile Solutions portfolio
• Maintaining a strong understanding of your portfolio’s positioning within the market; including customer perception, knowledge of vendors, competitors and analysts’ perspectives.
• Contributing to product strategy for your solution area based on your knowledge of the product and the market
• Continual evaluation of market opportunities and identification of new products and capabilities within your solution area
• Actively promoting, presenting and evangelising your products to both internal and external audiences, including sales, operations and customers

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in and Knowledge of Mobile Telecoms and Communications Markets
• Passionate about the benefits Mobile and Cellular IoT products can deliver to businesses of all sizes and sectors
• Can simplify technical complex solutions depending on the audience
• Flexible approach to work and capable of working effectively under pressure
• Motivated with a positive “can do” attitude
• An ability to demonstrate excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills; be an effective communicator across all levels of the organisation
• Ability to work in virtual geographically disperse teams
• To be technically and commercially aware of the market and have a full understanding of the technical, business and commercial propositions on offer
• Knowledge of Sales/Operational processes and their interaction with the Project Delivery Teams
