We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter with experience working in the industry for the role of Social Media Coordinator to plan, monitor and execute social media campaigns to engage and attract our target audience across our ecosystem. 

 

You will work on:

  • Eventually lead social media team meetings organization-wide to plan and brainstorm upcoming content throughout the calendar year.
  • Help to build an online community centered around digital, tech, gaming and other themes
  • Produce social media content - visual aids, graphics, infographics, video and supporting copy - in line with brand specifications
  • Posting to LinkedIn twice/week and Facebook three/week with relevance to platform audience
  • Ensure reporting of marketing performance weekly to enable reflection and improvement - including (but not limited to) post likes, comments, engagement levels, social account follows, link clicks, form fills etc.  
  • Devise new ways and strategies to increase our followings and reach across our regions

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in basic graphic design tools e.g. Canva 
  • Able to conduct insightful market research to help tailor content and strategy
  • Able to meet short deadlines with excellent time management skills
  • Designing, managing and reporting on campaigns
  • Admin, meeting coordination and diary management
  • Experience in paid social campaigns - Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads, Instagram ads etc
  • Interest in technology, telecommunications and/or gaming connectivity
  • Confident speaking to customers online and handling objections
  • Eager to learn in the tech, telecoms and B2B fields 


Structure:  

  • 3-month internship  
  • Monthly stipend of £500
  • Minimum / expected 20 hours per week  
  • Flexible working hours  
  • Available immediately  
  • Working in a small agile team, initially remotely  
  • The founders are involved in other start-up projects, which may lead to further roles and responsibilities on different projects.
