The Senior Billing Specialist role will be responsible for:

    Providing support to ensure the monthly bill run is generated accurately & in a timely manner

    Proactively providing advice on changes to increase the accuracy of every bill run

    Reviewing & amending pricing for customers where required

    Ensuring central spreadsheets & databases are maintained correctly for ongoing effectiveness and accuracy

    Checking billed data against customer orders & manually bill non-automated billed services

    Dealing with customer billing enquiries and closing accounts

    Liaising with other depts to ensure and improve accuracy of billing

    Checking supplier invoices tally with data received & raising supplier claims

    Working with your line manager to improve on mistakes, identify ways to improve processes and drive forward efficiencies

    Provide Sensitive Customer Point of Contact 

    Crown Commercial Reporting

    Complex Billing queries

Salary c£40k DOE

25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Hybrid opportunity (3 days a week in Reigate office)

Who? are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Billing Specialist with:

    At least 2 years’ experience in a Telecoms Billing role 

    Proven track record of being able to provide deep dive analysis with the ability to produce and provide client bespoke reports specifically when dealing with invoice queries

    Minimum of 2 years’ experience using the aBILLity billing system or AKJ

    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

    A pro-active attitude with the ability to build excellent relationships with customers

    Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    Ability to work autonomously within strict parameters or as part of a team with common goals

    IT Microsoft office proficiency

    Exposure to databases 

    At least 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English
