Due to our exciting, ongoing growth within the IT & Telecoms Sector, we are currently recruiting for an ambitious IT Sales Consultant who will be responsible for developing sales opportunities for new and existing clients through selling Microsoft cloud and support solutions. This is a position with great potential as the role will allow the successful candidate to grow with the division.

WHAT? This Role


Additionally, you will:


  • Work with the head of the department to agree sales and marketing strategies
  • Work with marketing to provide ideas for campaigns and commitment to follow up
  • Achieve a first-year revenue target of £175,000
  • Achieve self-set KPIs including; number of appointments set, number of outbound and effective calls made, number of proposals and presentations delivered
  • Generate own leads by calling and booking appointments
  • Build prospect pipeline managing revenue / new customer pipeline
  • Account manage clients and upsell services through regular meetings
  • Canvass new business from current client database
  • Inspire and mentor junior sales academy consultants, in return leveraging them as a source of new business leads

We are seeking an IT Sales Consultant with:


  • 1-2 years or above sales experience within the Information Technology sector
  • Ideally experience in selling IT services, support or virtual platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with strong planning and negotiation skill
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent attention to detail
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Worked with a variety of clients in an SME environment
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • High level of personal motivation
  • Ability to communicate at all levels & demonstrable client-facing skills
  • Positive attitude and behaviour, as well as trustworthy, credible and reliable nature
