The Role

You will be responsible for supporting both Account Management and Business Development Teams in cross selling and upselling into an existing customer base and new logos, as well as finding your own opportunities through previous contacts, networking and internal/external lead generation.

The purpose of the role is to provide specialist thought leadership, consultation and solution recommendations to their customers, as well as acting as an evangelist for the Client's hosted, UC and connectivity portfolio internally. The specialists will sell solutions to customers in a “business outcomes” led manner and will be able to articulate the benefits and comparisons of multi-vendors in a simple effective manner to ensure the solution addresses the customer requirements and business objectives.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Exceed monthly hosted seats and Gross Profit targets
  • Develop a sustainable pipeline of qualified and ‘winnable’ opportunities
  • Develop strategic understanding of each opportunity; including: customer size, turnover, org chart, key stakeholders, objectives, decision making process and overall win strategy
  • Engage with senior level contacts to deliver confidence in the Client's capability
  • Positively promote wider product portfolio within all customer meetings
  • Gain full understanding of competitive landscape
  • Work closely with strategic vendors, and be fully aware of current/new product functions and features

  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets selling telecoms solutions
  • Experience in selling hosted, unified comms and connectivity solutions
  • Demonstrate ability to self-generate opportunities
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team and with virtual cross-functional team members
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent sales and communication skills
