As a Partner Sales Specialist working in our new future facing hub Division X, you will be responsible for developing partner relationships to transform the way our partners work and grow their business using the latest innovations in IoT, 5G, Edge and AI.

This role requires building lasting relationships between external market and internal stakeholders to understand their underlying business needs and offer tailored solutions and an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires a driven, resilient, solution focussed achiever to utilise commercial and business acumen to generate new sales opportunities and retain and grow existing business.


You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Managing and exceeding financial targets for our combined solution capabilities, based on SOV GM and Total revenue for a defined base of customers.
  • Building solutions that meet and exceed customers’ business needs, delivering RoI and leveraging solutions across the division portfolio.
  • Maintaining a broad architectural knowledge and have opinions on leading and emerging technologies, to influence customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Aligning with the Account Management teams to build strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with customers, develop pipeline, and successfully achieve regional sales targets.
  • Working with finance and pricing to understand the P&L in detail for the customer solutions being sold to ensure margins on all deals are maximised and component pricing parameters are aligned to market expectations.
  • You'll have the following skills & experience

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to plan, forecast, pipeline, achievement, P&L details, understanding of customer trading & buying process/cycles and the ability to analyse competitor proposals when required  
  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen 
  • Able to work with the minimum of supervision and part of a team. Willing to travel and work from customer and other BT sites.                                          
  • knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of sales performance
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from different disciplines and influence at a senior level

Experience

  • Track record of delivering against targets in a hunting sales role
  • Proven experience of acquisition growth
  • Working in large, dispersed matrix teams
  • Bidding for and delivering successfully complex multi-year customer contracts.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of working within solution, channel, and indirect partner sales
