Pragma is an independently owned fast-growing technology company. They manage a network of experienced technology partners across the UK. An opportunity has arisen for a desk-based Business Development Executive to join the team.

This is the ideal role for a channel sales professional looking to build their career with a leading company operating in a fast-moving industry and offering excellent career development opportunities.  The role will initially be a combination of office and home-based with progression to be field and home-based.

As a Business Development Executive, you will work closely with the Business Development Director and be responsible for a specified set of partners within the UK. The role will require you to undertake account management of a well-established partner channel, as well as helping developing new business opportunities in order to maximise profit and growth.

You would be fully trained on how to secure and support resellers throughout your territory, most importantly, creating long-term revenue through the development of profitable and enjoyable relationships.

Supporting resellers through their entire lifecycle, your duties will include:

  • Helping identify, on-boarding and developing new resellers
  • Supporting resellers on the full range of products and services
  • Present regular updates to partners
  • Delivering product demonstrations
  • Understanding and forecasting resellers sales activities

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven sales/account manager experience with a track record of delivering against sales targets
  • Ideally a background within the telecommunications or technology industry
  • Desire to progress as the business grows
  • Full UK driving licence

Additionally, as a Business Development Executive, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Quick rapport building skills and a confident attitude are key, as is the ability to manage your own time and workload.

Salary: Up to £25,000 basic depending on experience. £35,000 OTE per annum.

Whilst not essential, sales experience gained within the telecommunications industry would be an advantage to your application.
