We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Team. This is an opportunity to join a highly energetic, dynamic and fast paced environment. Based in Milton Keynes, this role will suit anyone who wants to make a difference and can take the initiative to get the job done.

Candidate Requirements and Experience:

The candidate would need to be able to take the initiative, be trustworthy and reliable. They should be able to multi-task and being able to prioritise is essential.

They will need to adhere to processes and policies.

  • Good all round accounts experience 
    • Onus on sales ledger,
    • Invoicing,
    • Credit control,
    • Resolution of queries,
  • Experience with stock management and stock control would be advantageous but not essential.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of Sage would be useful but not essential.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to use MS Excel.
  • Good communication skills with a firm and confident manner.
  • The position would suit someone with a professional qualification like AAT, has basic accountancy and book-keeping or qualified by experience.
  • Punctual and professional at all times – we are dedicated to customer service.

Working hours

  • 2-3 days per week. Exact working pattern can be discussed, but we are looking for a commitment of between 12 and 21 hours per week.

Reporting

  • Report weekly on progress.
  • The role will report directly to the Finance Manager and the Finance Director.
