Job Description

The Business Development Manager is required to operate within the Indirect channel space, proactively managing partners with a territory to deliver end customer sales. The role involves working with these partners to grow their business opportunities and ensure that their focus is in delivering business to Daisy.  The base of partners will consist of existing active, dormant as well prospect partners, and each will need nurturing and cultivating.

The overall objective of the role is to increase repeat product sales volume across a portfolio of products, grow active partner numbers, maintain or increase partner satisfaction, and be an ambassador for Daisy Communications.

Salary: Competitive + Company Car/Allowance + Double OTE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Location: Flexible

Responsibilities:

  • The primary sales responsibility of the BDM is the growth and development of partners selling Daisy branded products.
  • Carry out regular face to face visits with partners to ensure that Daisy maintains a strong presence with the business partners.
  • Increase run rate business from existing partners, convert dormant partners into active partners and fully qualify and grow new prospects.
  • Ensure achievable expectations are set at all times.
  • Devise and implement ongoing growth and retention strategies through effective and documented trusted advisor engagement with the dealer principle of key partners.
  • Achieve set targets (including connectivity, revenue, churn & product penetration), KPI’s and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Previous B2B field sales experience essential.
  • Previous partner / indirect channel sales experience preferable.
  • Telecoms sales experience essential.
  • Gravitas, presence and strong interpersonal skills to build strong and lasting relationships at all levels, quickly gaining respect and credibility.
  • Excellent communications skills; verbal and written
  • Enthusiastic and a curious learner.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent customer/partner relations skills.
